Accessibility

Designing LootLister for every body and device.

Static HTML, generous spacing, and predictable layouts make LootLister.fun friendly to screen readers, switch devices, and focus work.

What guides our audits

WCAG 2.1 AA, EN 301 549, and community testing rounds. We release monthly notes to document fixes.

Email accessibility@lootlister.fun for feedback.

Approach

We build with semantic HTML, minimal motion, and hand-tuned templates. That means faster loads on Apache hosting and fewer barriers for assistive tech.

All new UI blocks go through keyboard-only testing plus screen reader sweeps (NVDA + VoiceOver). We also log contrast ratios before shipping.

Current features

  • Skip links, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive heading levels.
  • Buttons stay large (44px min) with visible focus states.
  • Text pairs Space Grotesk + Manrope for clarity at all weights.
  • Video or motion content includes captions or transcripts.

Ongoing improvements

  • Quarterly community testing sessions with assistive tech users.
  • Expanding language support and font loading fallbacks.
  • Documenting alt text patterns so share cards stay meaningful.
